Peppertown Statement of Warranty

Peppertown products and equipment are warranted against defects in material and workmanship under conditions of normal and proper usage for 12 months from date of purchase, vandalism excluded. Plastic and fibreglass components carry a warranty against cracking or breaking for up to 12 months from date of purchase with normal wear and tear. Our timber is guaranteed against insect and bacteria decay for a period of 10 years, but although timber is of high grade we do not guarantee against the inherent characteristics of timber which include wane, checks, cracks, stains, bows or twists.

The Peppertown warranty becomes void if any part of the play system has been subject to misuse, or if the instructions for its installation have been disregarded or altered. The Peppertown warranty becomes void if the play system has not been paid for at the contracted price as agreed at the time of purchase.

Peppertown liability is strictly limited to the cost of replacement or repair of the components warranted.

Terms are COD/7 days for accounts rated satisfactory. Past due accounts are subject to an interest charge of 1.5% per month until paid. This is an annual rate of 18%.

Prices quoted are FOB Brisbane price list, as nominated on the price list. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Orders received but held at client's request for more than 90 days will be subject to price increases.

Shipment will be made by collect freight unless instructed otherwise, in which case we prepay the freight and add the charges to our invoice. We are not responsible for delays in shipment.

Peppertown is released from all responsibility for loss or damage in transit by the bill of lading, which is our receipt from the carrier that the shipment was complete and in good condition. This bill of lading is forwarded to you at the time of shipment and should be checked carefully when the shipment is received. Be certain to have the agent of the delivering carrier made a notation on your freight bill of any shortages or damage.

Approval for returned items must be made in advance. The purchaser must within 7 days of the discovery of defective equipment give written advise to Peppertown describing accurately the nature of the problem. Any items returned for the customer's convenience must be sent freight pre-paid, be received in resaleable condition, and are subject to a 10% restocking charge.

Installation directions on all our units will be sent to the customer on request. We reserve the right to change specifications, installation directions and designs when appropriate.

This warranty supersedes any other warranty so given by any persons stated or implied. Peppertown does not authorise any person or company to make, change or imply to conditions of warranty herein described, nor does it accept any liability for such statements made or implied.
