At Peppertown, we are proud to be an Australian manufacturer. Our company is Australian Owned and Operated and family run since 1974.
Our products are designed and produced in our Brisbane facility, using locally sourced materials whenever possible. By working closely with our suppliers and contractors who share our commitment to Australian manufacturing, we ensure the highest quality standards.
Skyforts use Australian grown renewable plantation pine. Ethically harvested in line with environmentally sustainable principles. Dressed in Queensland and Kiln dried before Treatment to Australian Standards. Peppertown Precision Pine Logs are specially selected for their consistency, “straightness” and durability.
On all playground models we offer the option to include certified Organic logs wrapped in recycled plastic that are made in Australia and offer minimal maintenance and are 100% recyclable. These BlackMax posts have the benefit of No Rot, No Rust, No Disposal issues, No chemical issues and, are fully recyclable.
We mould our commercial slides and tunnels from super tough High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastics or fibreglass that is UV, weather and impact resistant and Australian made.
We only sell Climate resilient UV resistant plastics
If our timbers aren’t grown in Australia, we use timber sourced from renewable and responsibly-managed timber plantations. We deal with timber companies and manufacturers who follow FSC, BSCI and SEDEX guidelines and have attained ISO9001 standard. What does this mean? FSC (the Forest Stewardship Council) certification assures that products come from forests managed in an environmentally and socially responsible way. BSCI (the Business Social Compliance Initiative) focuses on improving working conditions in global supply chains. SEDEX (the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is a member platform that focuses on transparency of labour standards, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. And lastly, ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS). It provides a framework for organizations to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Our Australian made canopies feature fabrics that are built tough and have High tear and tensile strength, are Mildew resistant, UV stabilised and Fire retardant

Environmentally Conscious – Here at Peppertown we are consciously looking at ways to further reduce our carbon footprint and any negative impact on the environment. We have installed LED bulbs throughout our business including LED High Bay Lighting in our warehouse. We recycle packaging boxes and use recycled stationary where possible. We encourage our customers to allow us to recycle/reuse our cartons and only provide reuseable thick gauge bags instore. We offer discounted factory seconds for equipment or accessories that are usable but not quite perfect. We use a variety of recycled (and recyclable) HDPE plastics in our commercial playgrounds. Lastly, we offer replacement parts or substitute parts for most all items sold, and keep parts compatible across several models through time, so that units can be maintained for decades to come.
